2011 Royal Court
Queen Alena Dennis
Hello, I’m Alena Dennis and I am the most proud Queen of the Kitsap Saddle Club for 2011. I am sixteen years old and currently attend Olympic College in the Running Start program through South Kitsap High School. I was born to be involved with horses and with my community and being able to be a part of our amazing Saddle Club helps me do both. This year I really hope I can make everyone proud by representing us with a warm smile and a Don Soete’s famous burger, or two! Let’s make this the most incredible year yet. I would like to thank you generous sponsors: Kelly Imaging System, EHT Enterprise Inc, The BTC Group and Valley Feed.
Senior Princess Kayleigh Vetten
Hello, I am Kayleigh and I am 17 years old. I attend South Kitsap High School as well as Olympic college as a junior. I not only attends both schools, but succeed as an honor student as well. I have been riding at the Kitsap Saddle Club for about 1 year now. I enjoy going on trail rides, Western showing, rodeos, and gaming. I have strong, courageous feelings about horse slaughter and not only do I feel it is wrong, I act upon it. I have rescued every horse I have ever owned. Currently I have a 6 year old mare quarter horse who I enjoy gaming on and a 4 year old thoroughbred who loves to show. Other than horses, I enjoy dancing, singing, writing, baking, and being with friends and family. I plan on having a lot of fun at the Saddle Club’s events this year with all of you, your friends, and your family! Thanks
Senior Princess Emily Richardson
Hi, my name is Emily Richardson and I am in the ninth grade at John Sedgwick Junior High. I have been riding at the Kitsap Saddle Club for about three years now. I enjoy showing my leased 18 year old horse, Rocket, in all aspects of western riding such as showmanship, trail course, and gaming. Our favorite gaming events are two barrel flags and pole bending. This is also my third year in 4-H with the Blue Ribbon Riders. I have attended the Kitsap County Fair for the past two years, with my 4-H group and Rocket, and had a great time both years. Other than horses, I enjoy playing softball, reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family. I have had many great times at the Saddle Club's events the past few years, and know there are many more to come this year. I am really looking forward to representing the Kitsap Saddle Club in 2011.
I would like to thank my amazing sponsors: Columbia River Tack, Cedar Crest Stables, Grandparents Victor and Carrole Buchanan and Clayton and Anne Richardson, Ron and Sue Llapitan, Ron and Joan Mott, Myron and Mae Hawkins, Bruce and Sue Johnson, and my parents, Mark and Cheryl Richardson. Thanks
Senior Princess Raney Baker
Howdy, I'm Raney Baker. I'm 13 years old and home schooled in the 7th grade. I have done a horse project in 4-H for 6 years now and I serve as secretary in the Horse N Around, Mason County 4H Club.
I have two horses; a buckskin Quarter Horse named Scamper and a bay Quarter Horse named Chex. Chex is my Court Horse this year. I show all sorts of riding disciplines but my favorite is gaming!
If you see me and Chex or me and Scamper at the Saddle Club, be sure to say "Hi". I hope to see old and new people at the Saddle Club this year. Thanks to the people who sponsor and support me this year!
